About

Business Cardy builds and runs websites for electrical contractors across the UK from our base in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

The focus is simple: a site that presents services properly, loads fast, and makes it easy for prospective customers to get in touch. Hosting, maintenance, updates and security are handled as part of the service.

What a good website does

A good website will help potential customers find the right page, recognise the service they need, trust the business behind it and take the next step with the least possible friction.

  • a coherent structure and intuitive navigation
  • service pages that match what people mostly search for
  • making it easy for customers to get in touch via phone, email and contact form
  • proof in the form of reviews, accreditations and case studies of completed jobs

Why electricians

Electrical contractors get boxed into the same set of problems online: template sites that look fine but don't explain services properly, slow page builders that make updates a chore, and agencies that lock businesses into vague retainers and long turnaround times.

Business Cardy is built around how electricans are hired online: local, service-specific searches, trust signals, and proof from completed jobs. That's why the Core and Growth plans include a library of authoritative service pages, and why Growth adds monthly case studies and review collection support.

How it started

Business Cardy began after an attempt to build a site with Wix. The tools fought every decision - layout, structure and responsiveness — and it became obvious that “easy” builders are only easy until something needs doing properly.

Over the following years, the work shifted to building and hosting sites directly, with a preference for speed, structure and control. Focusing on electrical contractors came naturally: the work is technical, services are well-defined, trust matters, and most local sites fail in the same predictable ways.

How the service works

Business Cardy is a managed service, not a one-off handover. Depending on the plan, this can include:

  • a one-page site or unlimited pages
  • managed hosting, domain and professional email
  • ongoing content updates by email request
  • access to the service-page library (Core and Growth)
  • local exclusivity radius (Core and Growth)
  • Google Business Profile upkeep, review requests, and monthly case studies (Growth)

Pricing is published on the home page. Plans have a 12-month minimum term and VAT is excluded.
